PM: 3 mile tempo run on the track 16:51. (5:31, 5:39, 5:41) Had to quit to go to the bathroom. Much of the time I had to share the track with a bunck of football playing kids doing the occasional single lap.

Nice mileage and tempo. Your running is so consistent. Right now are you just trying for the Chicago Marathon?

From Dallen on Tue, Jun 17, 2008 at 18:05:39

Mostly just training for the marathon. Everything else is secondary.

Did you run it last year in the recorded heat? I really hope the weather conditions are excellent for you to get an excellent time.

I'm running the Pocatello Marathon next? The Great potato Marathon that you ran what's the course like?

From Dallen on Tue, Jun 17, 2008 at 18:16:27

Just barely survived Chicago last year.

Great Potato is a pretty flat course, mostly along the river. Small race, but I liked it.

Kory - mild downhill the first 10 miles, mild uphill the next 10 miles, and mild downhill to the finish. There is a small net elevation drop. Last time I ran it was 2001, so it may have changed since.
