After a lengthy warm-up I did 2 miles on the track at a tempo pace. I was not expecting much, hopefully somethin in the 5:50 range. Ended up hitting every lap within 0.6 seconds of 1:25, except for a 83 second final lap. Very pleased with the results as ths effort did not feel very hard. I thought that I was not in that good of shape. I guess that I have gotten some good results from mileage without speed. |
