AM: got up early to take on a long trail run. Drove up Big cottonwood canyon to Mills D trailhead. Then ran up the road about 6 miles to Wasatch crest trailhead. Several miles bordering on 10,000 feet. I was a little disappointed that I was only able to max out at 9975 feet. Then it was a nice downhill back to the car. 16 miles total. Averaged 8:58 pace, but was not pushing myself considering the 22 miler 3 days ago.

PM: ran to the park with Jonah, 4 miles. Not the best idea considering the 99 degree heat, but I manged. Actually I'm pretty acclimated by now and it isn't so bad if I'm not pushing too hard.

Dallen- what races do you have planned? Your workouts have been great.

Reading your accomplishments, I think we are practically twins. Our PR's are almost identical (7 seconds at the marathon), with the same thought that 2:35 is very do-able and long term goal of 2:30.

For now just St George. Next year I will probably focus more on ultras and triathlons.

Wow, impressive mileage this week (once again!). Your training is going awesome, keep it up.
